Cold Ash Tennis Club

Cold Ash Tennis Club is a small village club offering family, competitive and social tennis to those who live in and around the village or have children at the local schools. 

Cold Ash & Ashmore Green Cricket Club

Cold Ash and Ashmore Green Cricket Club was formed in 2001 to offer local residents the opportunity to play regular, friendly cricket. We currently play friendly matches on Sunday during the season, and in addition take part in the Charles Hoiles Downs League Mid-Week Competition.

Cold Ash Boys & Girls FC

Cold Ash Boys & Girls FC offer boys and girls the opportunities, challenges and benefits associated with participating in football.

Cold Ash Wildcats Girls FC

An all girls licensed football centre, offering a fun learning environment where girls can meet new friends and learn at the same time.

For Young People

Cold Ash Girlguiding

Girlguiding is very active and popular within Cold Ash. There are term-time sessions for Rainbows (5-7 years) and Brownies (7-10 years) on a Monday, Brownies on a Tuesday, and Guides (10-14 years) and Rangers (14-18 years) on a Wednesday. The groups meet at Thirtover Place and offer a wide range of fun and adventurous activities, as well as camps and indoor sleepovers.

Cold Ash Scout Group

Cold Ash Scout Group hold sessions for Beavers and Scouts every Thursday and for Cubs on Tuesday during school terms. Meetings are at St Finians School. The Group holds several camps and many other exciting activities throughout the year. New Leaders are always welcome!

Cold Ash Preschool

Cold Ash Pre-school is based in the Acland Hall and is open to every member of the local community from the term in which they are three until they are four years old and move onto primary school.

Little Quavers

Little Quavers Music is a very relaxed and informal pre-school children’s music group. Children from birth to pre-school age are welcome and we work on a ‘turn up and pay’ basis, so no termly fees.

Cold Ash Horticultural Society

Cold Ash Horticultural Society is a group of villagers who enjoy plants and gardening, with experience at all sorts of different levels from beginners to experts.

Cold Ash Brass

Cold Ash Brass are a friendly brass band, with a varied concert and contest schedule.
We rehearse every week at St Mark’s School, Cold Ash.

Cold Ash WI

Cold Ash WI meets once a month in the afternoon at Acland Hall.

Ashmore Green WI

Ashmore Green WI meets once a month in the evening at Acland Hall.

Phoenix Flower Arranging

The Phoenix Flower Arrangers meet at the Acland Hall each month to exchange ideas and to practice all aspects of floral art.

Cold Ash Society Of Theatre-Goers

CAST was formed with the aim of choosing productions to suit every taste in drama, musical and opera at different provincial theatres and London.  The coach departs from Acland Hall. We like to have a minimum of 6 trips a year.

Cold Ash Greening Group promotes Green Issues within our community.

Cold Ash & Ashmore Green Pathusers

An informal group of walkers who meet each month to use the paths in our area.

Cold Ash Parish Heritage Group

The Heritage Group was set up in 2014 to collect and record, in digital format, the history and culture of Cold Ash Parish with the aim of establishing a website and ‘Virtual Museum’ accessed online.
