NDP Open Day – Photographic Competition
You may recall that we requested photographs of our wonderful parish that captured its beautiful landscapes, historic buildings, parish values, and village charm so that they could be included in our final NDP document.
We had a great response, with some fantastic photographs sent in via email and social media. We asked all attendees at our NDP Open Day if they would vote for the best photograph as they saw it….and now it’s time to reveal the winners……..Just before I do a quick reminder of the great prizes we were offering:
- For the best judged overall photograph, a chance to see our wonderful parish from the air!
A wonderful adventure flight in a light aircraft for up to 3 people (the winning photographer plus 2 guests) around and over the parish taking off from west London. - For the best runners up in the Junior and Senior age groups 2 £50 Amazon gift vouchers each!
So, without further ado, the best judged photograph, which was unanimously voted for, was a beautifully framed shot of the sunrise taken by Pete Connolly from the footpath to Ashmore Green.
The best runner up photograph was entitled “The Magic woods” near Westrop Farm by Ben Long:
And finally, the best runner up in the junior class was “The Mighty fallen”, in Westrop Wood by Sophie Ainsworth (age 11):
We will contact the talented and lucky winners directly to distribute their prizes. Finally, I’d like to thank everyone for all of their wonderful entries and congratulate our winners!!
